Yes....I realize her birthday was 16 days ago.....I have been a bit remiss in my blogging duties....however....in my defense (and it's a poor one at that) her party was only 11 days ago. Anyway....it was generally a puppy kind of birthday given the following gifts:
1. From Grandma and Grandpa Bugaboo: Littlest Petshop Playground with dog figurine included and a Puppy Surprise (an ingenious doll that is pregnant....one opens the velcro on its stomach to reveal 2-4 puppies....if only giving birth truly was that easy)
2. From Grandma Button and Sunshine Grandpa: A doodle dog (again ingenious....you write on the dog, send it through the wash, and repeat
3. From Uncle Brent, Auntie Jen and Bandit: A Littlest Pet Shop stuffed dalmation
4. From Daddy and Mommy: A veterinary kit complete with stuffed dog to take care of.
5. From Zac: Littlest Pet Shop Husky dogs
6. From Caly (her puppy) and Kes (her kitty): puppy stickers
Aly even wanted a dog on her birthday cake....and not just any dog....a dog doing karate. Yes....I actually found a picture of one and spent five hours on the morning of her party making my first custom decorated cake. She got to lead her friends through a little karate class complete with nunchuck training (yes we sent the nunchucks home with each guest) and with the help of her karate instructor, she cut her birthday cake with a samari sword!
I can't wait to see what she decides on for next year!
